These are from when I was a knowitall young buck of 16, just dug em out. though I'd post em'. Me and pops did alot of things wrong, but it still held up for about ten years. I'm shooting for 30 this time. Fresh off the trailer- Little snot nosed punk... Never use that red stuff... All that chrome was fresh, andwrapped in newspaper sitting in the back of the car when we got it
Cool pics! I can closely relate to everything you said. When i got my 57 i was 15, and my dad did what he could to show me what to do . Lot's of mistakes on my part because i was/am a hard head...and a lot of learning....I wouldn't change a thing! The paint job looked like it came out pretty damn good! Gotta love those garage jobs! ...Something else ironic, my first full paint job was my 53 I still have that car too, just like you. Going on 20 years next month. Thanks for sharing!! Tony
