Thanks for posting the picture of my '32. It was a great show. Such an honor to be inside. Met a lot of nice people. Thanks to Mike and all the folks who worked so hard to make the show a success.
Coop, very nice car with lots of hand work, unusual approach. Refreshing to see something really different. Congrats on being inside. What an honor.
I tried to look at the rest of your pics but something was wrong on that site and it locked my computor up. I was able to shut it down properly (after much banging of keys) and it restarted ok. I just want to give others a headsup. Not your fault, something with the site. I think there is a way to post your pics on here, love to see them oj
Sorry about that oj if you have dial up it will take forever I have everything in high quality on site so it might slow up dail up heres direct link to gallery try that http://drchop.smugmug.com/Car-Shows-2009/Jalopyrama-103109/10153262_Pqgn3#698423232_cohrY hope it helps Thanks Chop
Thanks Paulie saw your car there but don't know what you look like lol would have liked to say hi one day
Thanks for the pics.....What a great show In spite of the weather we had a fantabulous time It was sure great to put some Hamber faces with names and getting to talk to some of the guys that had cars displayed. Thanks again for all your hard work putting this together for us
looks like alot of great cars. I'm curious to know how many of the cars inside were trailored to the show.
We drove from Connecticut (over 300 miles one way)....Had a great time! Mike and Jay put on one hell of a show. Got some wall art for the garage at the auction! Met some great people, got some good moonshine...(thanks Rod!!) Yep, we are smiling!!!
Ron, I have to second this . I Thought of you and Laura and rain on the way home today.. Sure wish I could have driven rain and all, It was first time out for my roadster and also first time for a trailer in over 35 year. I did get to follow Tom Edwards in the 29, 5a roadster, all the way home,in the rain.. Boy it sure looked like fun...
Some came from pretty far away and spent the night so they had to trailer them. They wouldn't have had a way to the hotel after loading the car in the armory.
We spent 2 nights...walked back to the hotel on Friday night, then walked back to the Armory Saturday morning. Less than a mile away-excersize is good for you. (The wife and I are both 50 something and we made it with no problems)!!
Thanks guys for thinking of us....it rained until we got to Jersey, then when we hit Connecticut the sun came out! We have been in worse weather over the years, so this was nothing, and Laura is a trooper and not afraid of anything.
--------------- Hey Ron. That was my dad and I walking back with you on Friday night. I should have asked if you were on the HAMB. Nice talking to you. Daran
Ron, thought about you, and your wife on our way north, we left right after you, thought we might catch you but, you musta been rollin! Started to rain on us about half way up the NJ Tpke. Trailer this year, worried about new car "bugs", drivin next year. Pleasure to talk with you again.
Hats off to Ron and Laura. I was honored to support this event and the true dual purpose of keeping the nostalgia of our p***ion alive and supporting a worthy Maryland charity. I know Mike, and the guys that put it on and they all work very hard to make it look like nobody works too hard on it. Great jobs guys. I was humbled to be a part of it and by the special words Jay had for the Bud Groome Roadster and Pats coupe. I trailored the roadster, just couldnt get it wired and fired for showtime. I wont make any apologies for that!
