Nothing wrong with the Plymouth, just no interest in an original drive train, 9K plymouth.

I'd take a weekend and paint the grill and bumpers white, change the wheels, pull the tint and drive it!

BTW, the Plymouth was cool in it's own way too.

What are the plans on the Truck?
I think it needs more Chrome (bumpers/grille):D and definitely different wheels.

But at least your hair will grow out in a month and you can cut it again for $10....:D

Both rigs look good, and are completely different in what they offer and represent.

I will probably detail the hell out of the truck (polish all of the aluminum stuff, clean the interior etc and probably list it 4 sale. That was the purpose of the trade, but---that could change. Winter is just around the corner here in central NY so I probably won't get a chance to drive it untill spring (6 friggin months).

It has a "warm" 350 4 bolt main sbs with a 4 barrel, headers and coupled to a muncie close ratio 4 speed with supposedly 4.56 rear gears. It runs pretty good, but I have only driven it about 10 miles.

I personally like the Plymouth better, but the truck would probably be easier to sell. Good luck with it.

you're asking a bunch of guys who spend years tracking down pieces/parts to finish cars they've been holding onto since Elvis had a record on the charts what they think of trading a car you were having trouble selling, for a truck that you INTEND to sell instead of drive? is this a thinly-veiled cl***ified ad in the making?

One: it was your trade. either you liked the deal, or you didn't. what the rest of us think of it, with fifty cents, will get a small cup of coffee at McD's.
Two: find out what kind of car really gets you off, and get one. you'll be a lot happier then.

  19. I agree that the truck will sell faster and may even bring in a little more $$ cha-ching!!

I think you made a good trade, Diffenintly like the truck better. Ply looks like its a want to be custom (paint and louvers) but also resto. (skerts.&org drive trn) TRUCK IMO, much more desirable. They both look like someone really put some work into them & $$ probally more than they will sell for.
Be proud to have either one!

What are you trying to get? I mean as far as the next project. You might could find a trade here, I think you made a good investment choice on that one.

Neither will sell if they are overpriced. Both could sell in the right venue, but "locally" might not be the right venue. Gene
