Edit: Just improved remarkably . . . now my HAMB life is good!

 

Just got back on, been tryin for hours. Still slow.

 

Been slow the last few days, but this evening, I'm in overdrive

 

its now working good for me here in indy....or its because its 2:00am

 

I've heard these threads and posts before but never really had any problems until today.
Slow to start then it wouldn't start at all, front page finally came up and it just sat there, click as a I might wouldn't start. Restarted the computer, restarted the modem and now it's better.

 

I too noticed it being slow on Sun morn, and somewhat yesterday here at the shop (older laptop), and again this morning. Now today it's taking substantially more time than what's normal for this site. Everything else I check is wham-bam so it's here not in the 'puter. Replies are taking a bit to post/load.

I'm currently using the HAMB to derust some parts I have, 'cause it sure looks a lot like mol***es right now...

 

hey PLYM...yea, whatever they did today screwed things up. was off site for something, and realy works slow now. i hope they didn't have to pay for this meltdown...POP.

 

My wife hates it when HAMB is slow because I spend some time on Ebay!

 

Yep! Slow here too.

 

My guess is that they switch to another, maybe older, server to work on the main one. I sure know the feeling when things are working right and everybody is sitting and carping. They will get it worked out and then all will right with the world again.
All things considered this thing works pretty good most of the time.

 

Probably just too many posts about flatheads.....
