welcome! oh how i wish i could get a Vauxhall here, or could afford it... im a sucker for foreign cars, not the stuff they sell here now, though.
G,day I just love that pickup ,i am amazed at the cars in the uk ,until I started on the hamb I didnt realize hotrodding was so worldwide.
over here, the silver on black is the preferred look....legal on pre 73 vehicles...later vehicles must have reflective plates [white front, yellow rear]... Also ...pre 73 cars are classed as historic and do not pay UK road tax... big al
If you look at the later pics of the Imp, you'll see we can get 'States plates'. US style pressed licence plates with our British registration number. They are illegal of course, but most cops overlook this......Usually
There's already a "Limeys of the HAMB" group, so why not have a North of the Border one too? Welcome from a Former Brit....
thanks for the welcome guys...i didnt know if my version of an A pick up would have the "right" look... i purchased loads of bits that never saw the final build...but now i think the "less is more" look works better...for instance....i paid £200 for a stainless grille insert but fitted an auto jumble painted item...£9...typical... i'll post my build up pictures later... big al
