My uncle's have a few 1955 and 1956 Chrysler Imperials. There is one 2 door HT 55 that would make a good 300 clone. They are considering selling these cars because they are losing storage space. How can a fair value be determined for these cars. All need work, very complete and solid cars. They have been inside building for the last 25-30 years. Any advise will be appreciated thank you, Chris
More description and pictures are really needed. Do they both have their original engines in place? That will make a huge difference. Condition of chrome, gl***, interior, do they have ***les? Snap some pictures, bust out a detailed description and I can help. And don't listen to the schmuck who's bound to jump on here and tell you the price is "whatever the buyer and seller agree to" or whatever smart*** comment they may have.
one way to find out what cars are sort of worth is to look at completed auctions on epay....the ones that did not sell because reserve was not met, but did get bids, count just as much as the sold ones.
Thanks for the input. I have been watching ebay, but not many on there. There is 2 complete 4 door 56s 1 4 door parts car with engine and trans and one complete 55 2 door hardtop. All have original hemis and transmissions. The two complete 56s were driven 300 + miles and parked years ago. Also is a 56 Pontiac Starchief 2 dr ht in complete running condition.
