H3O, Sorry for the loss of your Grandpa. It sounds like you and he had a very special realationship. As you drive the old girl just remember all the good times you two shared. I am sad he left so fast. He is in a better place now. RIP. 41 Dave

Sorry to hear of your loss. Like you I to got my Ford pick up from my Grandpa. I dont plan on selling my truck either, but every time I drive it, I think of Grandpa riding shotgun smiling .My prayers go out to you and your family. Todd
Painting his name on the glovebox door is a great idea, along with the name of the truck. A very nice way to honor your grandpa, indeed. Thoughts and prayers for you and yours...
My condolences to you and yours. I wish I had a great connection like that with my truck. I'm sure he'll be riding along with ya.
That's rough. My grand parents were so special to me. God bless you and your family. The truck will be really special.
I'm so sorry to hear of your grandfather's p***ing. He is indeed in a better place. And may god be with you as you travel with your family.
i saw my gramps three times while he was alive. he never drove a car. he was an immigrant from italy. what he left me was the memory of a strong silent man, secure in his world. that old f100 should go to your grandkid, just like you got it. from his gramps... "talkin to my boss upstairs"
I feel your pain and your loss. I was especially close to my own grandfather and followed him like a shadow from the time I could walk. The family says I am the most like him and I credit my mechanical skills to him. When he p***ed I bought his 8n Ford tractor from my grandmother and still own it 40 years later. I plow my driveway with it every winter and can't ride it without thinking of him. Be sure to treat you granps's old truck with respect and take care of it. It will last you a lifetime and be a constant reminder of the good times you had with him. Frank
