    My condolences. I completely understand. These losses are never easy, but you've got something to remember him by and everytime you start it up, you'll think of him. Our car was handed down three generations now too...it's a fond reminder.

    thanks guys, feelin a lil better. found out his funeral will be saturday at 10am down in altus,ok. i just wish i could drive the truck down there.:( gotta take my dad's down there. i'm just glad i'm goin.

    Sorry to hear that, sounds like he was a good man. My grandpop lived above us in our two family house when I was growing up so he was like a second father...old railroad man - drove a '58 Bel Air and showed me how to wrench..... used to kick me in the *** if I left the tools outside...miss him every day.

    Im sorry for your loss .He will be riding shotgun every time you get in.

    I wish I had my grandads truck 28 or 29 Dodge.
    Im trying to trace the people he sold it to.Was sold in the early to mid 60s heard it was taken care of and was seen a few times since then.

    So sorry for your loss. Was just last night looking at some wooden puzzles my grandfather made in 1913 (he was a pattern maker) Died in 1953 still miss him.
