some old school striping

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by calicruiser, Nov 3, 2009.

  1. I bought my 49 plymouth almost a month ago. Have put 400 miles on her, lowered 2" in the ***end, painted the wheels black and threw on some baby moons. Just got some striping done today at my friend Steve Havens place. He does quite a bit of striping here in Colorado Springs. Check it out!

I don't have many other plans for the car other than driving it and enjoying it. The bike I built is my "hotrod"! Thanks for looking fellas!

Looks really good! He hooked you up! Love the bike!

  6. thanks fellas, I also did this baby moon cap for shows and such. I laid the variegated gold leaf and Steve striped it for me. We also do custom helmets. I will be posting in the for sale section soon if anyone is interested in either. You know your lid has to look as good as your car going down the strip!!

how is the cadmium-esque marbling done on the hubcap? That reminds me of the lettering on the Indian motorcycles that is so hard to accurately reproduce. very nice work on the car and other items.
