Hey everyone, first post in a long time, sorry to waste it on more of the same I guess...but here's 200 pics from the Jalopyrama (as many as Flickr would let me upload!). Enjoy 'em. http://www.flickr.com/photos/29341872@N00/4074104332/in/set-72157622729458524/ One more thing...if you see one you like, click on the little "All Sizes" icon right above the pic, in the middle of the row, that'll show it to you as big as Flickr will show it.
Great showing of Hot Rods, Customs and bikes. Hard core drive um in the rain. Really a terrific representation of our hobby. The FOGGER
Great photos!! The three window survivor with the ardun and the five window dark red deuces are fucking R-A-D!!!!
Anyone know the story on that Ardun "survivor"? The interior seemed way too clean to have been chilling in a barn for the last 40 years. On the other hand, someone probably would have cut that roof between then and now had it been anywhere near a hot rodder. That dark red one, though, was completely awesome. I think I heard it had been cooped up since '64 (might be wrong about that) and it just sold a few weeks back, so the new owner drug it out for the show. The original owner/builder was there, too, from what I heard, but I don't have solid info on any of this. And 345window's jerking you, I'm the guy that drove that Vicky to the show. And the "hot chick" he's talking about is his future daughter-in-law.
thanks! And yeah, that coupe getting squirrely on the on-ramp coulda got real ugly real quick, good thing there wasn't someone behind him to mess up his car (or worse!).
The red 32 5w was just recently bought, and was last on the road in 1968. This is one of two '32 5W coupes that have been rumored to still exist in their original state from the 60's. The other was called Black Label, built by upholsteror Bud Samis, and while it reportedly does still exist, I am not aware of any recent photos.
