I have a 1930 Ford Pickup truck... I am looking for a 9" . What are the year makes and models of vehicles that I should be looking for.

What are the dimensions from backing plate to backing plate to tuck my wheel in those fenders.

The ideal width is 56 inchs ... wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface ... but there are NO 9 inch Fords that narrow from the factory :(

A lot of Model A guys run the V8 Maverick rear ends ( 5 lug wheels ). They are 56 inches WMS to WMS ...

A early Bronco is 58 inches and has the 5 on 5.5 wheel bolt pattern. A 57/58/59 Ford car rear end is a little over 57 inches ... and has the more common 5 on 4.5 wheel bolt pattern.

The V8 Maverick rear endworks well in a light vehicle without a ton of HP and torque. :D
