Hi, i just joined today. I live in harford county Md. My current ride is a 61 falcon 2 dr wagon. I hope to get some primer and flames on it soon. Keith
If you have to flame it, flame it over the paint..... That car is tooooo cool the way it is. Lower it a little and drive it ...
Looks like a clean little car, I wouldnt go the primer route though, shes too good to "rat rod-ize" her. Maybe just lower the front a tad for a nice rake and possibly a repaint if tan isnt your favorite color.
Put the primer gun down and STEP AWAY FROM THE CAR!!! This early 60's Falcon needs NO primer and flames: It NEEDS coarse flake maroon scallops, light ivory top and Supremes with pins...
it looks better in the pic :O) The car was originaly black with a white top. It would look cool with some flames on the tan. But the passenger side need some help( dents and RUST) KEITH
nice car man my mate is gettin his dad's 64 coupe when he gets his licence that'll make a nice project

[/ QUOTE ] Hey its your car do what you want but I'm with Whizzerick on this one. Primer is a step down on this ride....whats wrong with a little rust and old paint? Nice wagon,I like it! Welcome to the HAMB!
there notta thing wrong with old paint and rust. i walk right past the fancy cars to look at the primered/rustic/working man cars. I love my little wagon maybe i should just slap some wheels on it drop the front a tad then run the tire off of it keith
kid i went to school with drove his gramma"s car, a 61 falcon ,this was 30 yrs ago, we called him "falcon eddie", still do, and he still drives the car
Welcome. Love that car. My current driver is a 62' Comet. Looks good the way it is man, NO PRIMER! Drop it and cruise it.
Welcome Keith. Yeah, nice car. Definitely go with the new wheel and tire combo first. Now personally, I have a need to see a couple of inches come out of that roof but that's WAY too much glass to cut. LOL Have fun on the HAMB, Big Daddy Eric
Welcome to the HAMB. I agree, nice looking car. Wagons are hot right now. Put a nice 302 & c-4 in it!
Welcome to the HAMB Love the wagon .... I have a soft spot for em.. My daily driver back in OZ was a 62 Falcon wagon with "DELUXE" stainless trim around all the windows, interior adn down the side trim..pretty cool. It was white so I red scalloped it and slammed it on the ground.. I also saw your model post, pretty nice too anyway, enjoy the HAMB.. Heres a pic of my ol' wagon after I sold it and after it was unlowered and de-whitewalled to get relicensed.. Paul
Welcome aboard,Dig your wagon as i have a soft spot]for them as well. Still see TallPauls wagon around on Friday nite bike rides.
