Was that a botched chop? S**** is right, the roof is dead flat and needs some crown to work. Maybe some skirts - or at least another hubcap. Neat car, you don't see a lot of Plymouth customs.
OK, remember - you asked. It's over-chopped, the roof is way too flat, the quarter windows too short and the panel between the deck lid and the roof too long. What's going on with the top anyway, some kind of carson top? Doesn't 'flow' at all. The stance seems OK, I always like my kustoms a little lower in the back though.
Cool, thanks. The top is a removable top. its just got some padded foam type **** on there until i figure out the shape.
As usual I agree with Gator. If you've seen the Caddy he built a while back you would trust his "eye"
Stance and front tire wheel selection is perfect....I mean perfect. The top sort of ****s the life right out of it though. There is no crown and the top is too severe. I think that cutting the roof off and carson topping this thing with some crown would make it a sure winner.
I like the torpedo shape: tapering from front to back. Maybe you can finish the Carson top so as to emphasize that? And it needs something to define the lower edge of the body; if you dont want lake pipes, then maybe you could do something with stainless trim along the rockers ... or just paint.
put another bow in the top to add some crown, make some hirohata style side windows, and vent windows, find some stainless trim (51 packard would look cool), add some skirts, and i'd say you have a winner,,,

Zach nailed it! I think 'V'ing the decklid would make it flow a lil better too. What all the guys said will make it look gooder! I don't mind the space between the decklid and back of the roof, makes it coupish/ fastbackish kinda... -Shiny
I agree. The window opening needs to be swoopier and the roofline made to match. Not really sure how to improve where the winshield meets the top, but it feels like it needs a radius there.
Nothing about the roof is graceful. Think compound curves; no straight lines or flat surfaces anywhere. If you can't get the "right" shape, you might be using the wrong materials and techniques.
Yes, folks are trying to help since he asked for "advice". Your "comment" really makes no sense unless you're trying to stir up drama. NCKalex, like others have mentioned, the top is too flat and in my opinion to severe. Not sure what's going on with the area above the trunk. Yeah... Anyways, Denise suggested I post pics of my Caddy here, so - here are a couple of before and after pics, I still felt like it was over-chopped (it was chopped when I got it) but I was able to make it flow a little better. If I had done the original chop I would have left at least another inch, inch & half in the windshield. I think it was chopped in the 'too much is just right' mind set. Before: You can see the back window is laid over so much it's into the quarters. There's also a pronounced 'hump' in the roof line, and the back is too thick. Stripped; We replaced the back window and pancaked the rear of the roof to take some of the heft out. After: Still not how I'd have done it from the get-go but I think it helped a lot. If you're making your own removable top there's no limit to what you can do shape wise, I think I'd take SUHRsc' direction and replace it with the top from another car. Good luck with it.

the original roof went to around where the back of that little section you see. the roof was cut off for whatever reason. so to give it more of that longer look the package tray area was filled in about 10 inches.
