Does anyone know how much it generally costs to get a car shipping across the states... say MN to TX? I am trying to negotiate with a guy but need to get an idea of how much on top I would have to pay to get it down here.

Last month, SoCal to Livonia, Michigan $1575 by two different companies equals .70 cents per mile. Can kinda give ya a rough idea. Would probably cost more going to or from a smaller town.

I would guess it would take $600-750 to make that move. Lots depends on how big of a hurry you are in. Try Marcy on here. She frequently travels from Austin, TX to WI and back. And a nicer person you shall not meet

most companies give free estimates...some websites even have tables with information such as miles/cost. I can't recommend any for transporting cars, I have only shipped motorcycles before. Good luck.
