Anybody i.d. this stuff?? These came with a 235 chevy 6 and look like they will fit it. The intake doesnt have any name or numbers on it, had been polised at one time. The carbs are Carter YH, the exhaust manifold had a GM casting number 3886106 (I think) but I didnt know GM made a factory split exhaust manifold??? thanks-

    forgot the pics....

early vette? (53-55 had a 235 with 3 side draft Carters, and a factory dual exhaust)

I looked up that casting number in my '29-'57 Chevy Parts Manual and it wasn't listed.

Change the "6" to an "8", and you've got the casting number for a '53-4 Corvette exhaust manifold. That stuff "came" with the engine? Sounds like some really nice "throw-ins".

Yep, that stuff came with the engine, going to keep the exhaust but part with the intake and carb - have 6 carbs total with 4 carb kits, the intake, spacers, etc.
Have an Offy dual carb intake I am going to use so I plan to get rid of this one...

Forget the Offy stuff, use the Vette side draft setup. Will work much better. Ran that setup in the 60s on a warmed up 261, Strong!! By the way that stuff brings good money if you insist on getting rid of it.
