SWEET MOTHER MCCREE, lookit all the Buicks!!! >facedesk< Please please please...if anyone's heading out there any time soon, I could REALLY use these: A set of 1949 Buick front fender/marker lights and spear trim. The one above looks like it's in great shape, any chance the left one is just as nice, or that there's a left-side one in the same shape on another '49 in all that gold? If the yard owner is willing to have those pieces parted out and wants say, $30-40 for each light with trim? I'll pay for the parts, shipping to FL, and a reasonable amount for your time to pull the parts cleanly! Why aren't there places like this in Florida? >cry...<
The one on the other side is busted, but there are a few 49's there. I'm going back next week and when I do, I'll see what I can find for you and see what he wants for the parts.
alot of unusual parts there...I love old junk yards like that,it gets me all excited and makes me think that life has a purpose
Wow, I wish that was near me. I'd pay the guy just to let me walk that yard for stress relief. So many cool cars and parts to look at.
pontiac, wow man, great pictues. thanks for taking the time to post them. i agree with Jax2A, what he said.....
i"ll take the rear bumper on that 62 cadillac if u can get it! plus the rear p***enger fender for that 48 desoto need that bad , what's there number and address email if possible
all kinds of cool stuff there , if you can save it grab that compound carb intake and factory dual exhaust manifolds of that buick straight 8 seems quite a few are looking for these items
I'm planning to make another trip to this place on Tuesday... Anyone want any specific pictures of anything? I'll also get his contact information for those who want it.
Man I see a few things I could use like that grill center bar on the 47-48 chevy. I spotted the tail end of a 81 chrysler imperial I'd love to have the engine fuelie unit.
Scrolling through those pics is like walking through a cemetery. Something sort of spooky about it. I only saw one Studebaker, a '56 or '57 the whole thing was not in the picture. I think it was a two door post. That could be a really cool car.
I would like to see what the steering wheel in this looks like, also the rear view mirror if its there. Did you notice if there was a 49 chevy lic plate sarround on any of those chevy's
Thanks Pontiac, I'll be looking forward to the Info., I have a place in Princeton, That can't be too far, I'll have to check it out.
pontiac<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_4526028", true); </SCRIPT> - What junk, I didn't any at all, just a lot of cool tin that could be saved. There are some rare parts in there and some rare wagons. Very cool have fun exploring the graveyard. CRUISER
Well, I made the trip back down to this place today and took 181 more pics. I still didn't get pics of everything, but most of it. I also have contact info for those who wanted it. I don't know if the guy that owns this place will ship parts or not and I don't know if you'd want regular guys in that yard pulling parts off these old cars. If anyone strikes a deal and needs someone to pull parts, I can gather a list and make a trip down there for you all - just help with my fuel and a little bit of time. It's about 110 miles round trip for me. I'm going to try to put up all these new pics onto my photobucket account tonight. I'll PM those who asked for contact information for this place tonight when I get back on. Dave
