This is a 27 T modified that Jake Yenny built The car was mostly built in his two car garage. and is one of the few T that you actually sit down in the car. an under slung front suspension. and a quad four motor.

That's one of my problems I sit to high (ok for the wifey @5' 2'')

nice to see the seat squab either side of the trans tunnel instead over the top.

    Nice looking car ......love modifieds

Here are few mor pictures of the car the first one you can see how Jake sits down in the car. Jake is 6' 1" and still fits in the car.

the motor is from an 89 Pontiac grand am. trans T5 , banjo rear

looks like a good quality build. nice looking car, but i am not that excitied by the engine choice, and it looks like the steering column is very long. i guess it has to come back that far from the taper of the body, and the diameter of the wheel?? pretty car though.

    Very nice!

Seeing Jake in the car gives me confidence I can fit in one of these...I'm 6'-3".

Saving these pics for reference on my upcoming modified build!

That car has been pictured on here many times. Admired by many including me. Is it still owned by my neighbor Roger Morrison? I can't keep track of him he has so many cars.

  17. Yup, have liked that car for quite some time.

This car was featured in street rodder a few years ago. we recently had it here at the shop is why i brought he project up. A quick change would have been great but building this at home and on a budget you have to make do. Same with the motor choice it was an inexpensive drive train to put in and that car is so light and really handles well that the Quad four was plenty of power.

It appears from the pictures the tailpipe is wrapped in cord? Hard to tell because the picture is so blurry. Have any idea what material was used?

Cool car man! I agree with the sitting low deal, much better than sitting up in the breeze. Nice choice of wheel/tyre too. This car sits just like mine....can't wait to get mine going!

  26. Georgeous car. Looks just right. It looks like you sit down in it pretty good.
How does a underslung car feel for ride?

Very nice. It sits right and you get down in it, out of the wind.

A few more build shots of the car a little better quality in the pictures.

The bell housing come from Quad4rods in Colorado springs.
header wrap is held on with twisted safety wire.

Never would have guess that engine was from an '89 GrandAm! Super cool modified! Great job!
