"I scored the driprails from Gene's Hot Rod Supply at a swap meet. They are four pieces so they aren't too big to handle.. The Gene's guys are reeeeal intresting....Nice parts, but you can definately tell they are from way up in the hills of Tennessee.."

LMAO. That's 10-uh-C. But I love it. Moving over that way next year.
But it's definitely not the same since Gene retired and sold out.

Thanks for posting the pics. Mine looks similar. Did you Just use the frame to square up the body for the floor fit up?

Mine is going to need a firewall and the bottom of a couple of door posts to get the sag out of the doors. Any tips?

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I meant to toss these pics up last week...

Here is her ch***is ready to go.

The mill is a 462 inch Pontiac. (kind of like a 389, only bigger.) This is the same basic combination that ran low 12s in the Model A. This car might do a high 12 with some traction...

    Body work is next...

    See ya, -Abone.

Great work. Seeing what some of you guys can turn out makes it worthwhile sorting through the rants!!

Wish I still had my '39.

Holy ****, you drug this one up from a while back....

In this pic, she has been totally apart and is in the beginning stages of bodywork and final ***embly. The ch***is and firewall are finish painted, her engine is broken in and she has been around the block with no major mishaps.

The black color is only epoxy primer which will be mostly gone with the bodywork. Have no fear, I haven't gone all rat rod on you, this one will have shiny black paint and interior.

I love it, very nice stuff. I really appreachate, seeing a body that rough and some one does a job on it. Thats sweet. Some of these guys here will take a very nice runner and cut it up (cause its there car and they can do it how they want) My hat goes off to men like you, Great Job, I am sure it will be all you hope for when its done.
