    Hey, look up Tom Branch and his deuce. It is pretty much a done car, magazine car, and he drives it everyday, everywhere. Of course, it is Stude powered, so indestructible.

    We do !

    Here's a snap shot of my 'Purple-Hayes' Model A and my fellow Poor Boy brother Dave's Model A, both are our daily drivers.
    My Coupe gets as good as gas mileage as my Ranger pickup, so why not?
    Besides, it creates great conversations with folks at long stop lights almost everyday.

    My 48 F-1 is my daily driver. It is my transportation and my work truck. It has been the daily for the past 4+ years. My other car is a 48 Chev convertible that gets occasional use.

    I believe that too many cool old cars don't get driven like they should.
    I went though a great deal to rescue this car from being crushed / parted out. I (re)built this car to drive, and after 4 months of laboring and ensuing setbacks (including a trashed engine) it's become a "rolling project". It's due to be painted in the spring. This car has seen too many winters that have taken their toll on the body to romotely consider driving it in the winter here in Minnesota. I will however continue to drive it as long into the fall season as possible. I'm extremely grateful to the folks here, and at other sites I've been referred to from here, for helping make this happen! So far it's been very fun meeting folks who gravitate towards this car wherever I go. With 65 rounds on her she goes down the road real fine - the suspension system was one of the very few that survived well.
    Thanks again to all you fine folks here at the HAMB!!!
    A friend hooked me up with a nice rebuilt double barrel Holley for her from 1967 for an upgrade in case anyone's wondering what that is.:)
    PS If anyone has any affordable ideas for intake / exhaust it'd be very appreciated...
    Don

    I'm here in Havasu for 6 months, and I drive this bone stock v8-32 Ford every day. Mrs Stimac insists that I leave the Yukon home for Her use

    i wish. but it's hard enough driving a 60's car every day here in rainy/stormy ol oregon....

    if i lived in california or somewhere similar, i'd drive a model a every damn day of my life.

    Daily driven all of these in the past , though I wasn't doing huge mileage due to working as a long haul truck driver ;

    The '56, not every day, but anytime I feel like it. The '49 is definately an all-year driver and way more fun than any new car.:)
