Are there other guys on this board with custom 49 - 51 Lincoln's?
I'd love to see your ride...
Right, I know, but I thought I would ask anyway.

    By the way...
Not to be Spamy, but I'm looking for a Cosmopolitan windshield (it's one piece) and the stainless windshield trim for this thing.
Not your typical junkyard or Ebay items, so any help is great!

Jive.....summer of '84, I traded my 57 Ranchero rustbucket for a Black '50 Lido coupe [also called the baby lincoln] with a stuck motor. At the time I already had 3 other projects and the Lincoln had to be parked on the gr***, killing it graveyard dead. The missus and I went around and around about my "habit" and I ended up selling all the projects, including the Lincoln to a guy from Iowa..
I got a friend building a 49 cosmo sedan right now...

Rocky- Let me know if your friend has an extra windshield or the windshield trim, by any chance.

    Thanks!

There are a few of those owners who used to show on HAMB. LincCosmo was one.
What about that strange dude in CA who was chopping one in a chicken coop? Forget his name.

    mr57-
    If all else fails,
You COULD make your own lenses...?
Might be cheaper that way too.
If you need/want to know how I'd do it, just PM me...

I hadn't given too much thought to using DP90 on my 50 Merc, but I have to admit that on this 51 it looks damn fine....

Nice car man...great body style...I don't know if this will help, but check out Lincoln Land in Clearwater, Florida...they mainly specialize in the 60s models like I have, but they may also be able to refer you to places that have the 49-51 parts. They have a web site and you can email them. www.lincolnlandinc.com

    Take care.
