That's really amazing. Was one of those (last picture, first post bottom center) a 3-deuce for a Lincoln V12? it is hard to see in the pic, but it looks like the center carb base is backwards or a 4-bolt while the other two are 3. any info on it?

It should be illegal to hoard that much cool stuff. He should be on that show Hoarders on A&E and seek professional help.

In the 4th pic there is a 4 pot manifold with 3-1bbl and 1-2bbl/3 bolt throats. What's that all about?

Bob has invited me to see his collection and it is only about 45 minuets away from me but I have not made it there yet. I must go soon. I will do it this winter.

Sounds like the intake Miller made for Hilborn before Stu came up with the fuel injection idea. Supposedly, flatheads always had a lean condition on that one set of intake ports, and the larger carb was intended to even things out.

I have a Lincoln V12 in my 32 and I have a Edmunds intake with two carbs. The one on the wall for the V12 what make is that one. Do you have other V12 manifolds on your wall.

    Thanks

Yes, it has to to do with the firing order & timing on a flathead. Eddie Miller realized this when he made Stu Hilborn's intake. Stu obviously took it a step further and stuffed all the bores with go-juice with his fuel injection.

Certainly worked for I think Hilborn picked up some serious m.p.h. just by switch from Miller's intake to his own injection.

These pics only scratch the surface. Bob's collection goes way beyond this and the cars that are a part of it will blow you away to boot. If you get a chance to see it, go for it.
