That looks great! I can't wait to see it in person. I'm glad that gun worked. I love the one I own. You simply can not beat shooting Auto Air flake. I love cleaning out the gun, and my hands with water. Now, You got me all jazzed to paint something.
I love it! I need to learn more about flake...I wanna do the inside of my van in some kinda flake too.....and I gotta real-live 60's R. Crumb jones goin. I wanna do some "Just passin through" [with Mr. Natural] on the side of my van...it's sooooooo naked!
Thanks, AntiC...for the compliment AND the HVLP! Rocky...that nice, clean, white van woulda stayed that way for maybe a day after I bought it! Time for some panels of candy, lace, webs and maybe even a Frazetta barbarian chick or two!

[/ QUOTE ] Why don't you two point your vans this way, come to Tulsa for some good ole times and Barnett can get his paws all over Rocky's mobile porn studio in my shop. Hell we'll even throw a party for ya if you get here on December 4.
[ QUOTE ] Rocky's mobile porn studio [/ QUOTE ] Maybe it should be painted like a plain brown paper wrapper with one or two edges peeled back and little bits of "magazine" or "video" covers peeking out! We could letter "Rocky's Toys" on the sides.
Yeah!!! Maybe even have some unidentifiable substances on the brown paper? Make sure the corners of the mags are tattered and torn.
Soooo....this afternoon I went out and sprayed another THICKER layer, or 3, of clear. The difference is like night and day!! It looks like I sprayed 5 more layers of flake! Unfortunately I STILL can't get a decent pic of it. I've tried all kinds of different settings and lighting combos. I give up...
So any ways...it looks KEY-RAY-ZEE in real life with or without drop lights. I'm stoked. Gonna haveta do the exterior now.
Looks cool. But hey Gracies advice is spot on (and Cragars on redlines will do the trick). I have that hotwheelcar too . I think its called "Supervan". Bought it as a kid here in Haugesund around 1980.
v8minor...you guys have the craziest rides, across the pond! What's the inside of that look like? My folks had a pop up VW when we lived in England...we went camping all over the place over there! Sailor...can you post a pic of the "Supervan"? My van is acctually the "Supervan" model...it's got the Supervan badges on the door. I think because it's about 2 feet longer than the normal Econos.
