Thanks for the pics of the cars in the show!! I didn't have time to walk around the show.

Harry is a pistol. My dad has known him for years he is a tough cookie.

 

what a shame id still rather go there than disney world

 

It's really not a shame, I spent a couple of hours in the yard there, too.

Everything I looked at in the car section was picked clean and the hulks that are left are really scrap. It's not sad at all. Pictures make these look a lot better than they are.
But the truck section is another story, quite a few in the commercial area are not that bad. and there is some unique stuff there. Some military. Even a 46-47 style Ford 1 ton that was a military version with a different dash and inline 6 flathead and no holes for park lights in the front fenders..

i walk around and took pictures till the batty die does anyone know more about the place?

Exactly... The cars have for the most part served their purpose and yielded what usable parts they had some time ago. What is left is extremely rough and best left as yard art, which is what Harry has done, except on a grand scale.

And yes, the commercial section looked like it had some nice stuff. I didn't venture in there for fear that I might find a Diamond T like the one below with a NICE cab instead of the clapped out one pictured...
