It's called 289 gang. If you got one, you're in. I'm in with a '65 Ford Fairlane 500. My take on it is any make 289 join up!

Will we have more Studebaker guys or Ford guys? Studebaker built their 289 for 10 years and Ford built their's from 1965 to 1967. I'm thinking more Studes

    I guess we are out...only a 221 and a 260.

and how do you tell the difference in one?

and what about the lil Trans Am engines?

Lame club...get yer history straight before you start a "club"...

More Studes than Fords?...hardly, betcha Ford sold more 289 powered cars than Stude...anyone know?

    Wait!...just found a 289 in one of our 64 Fairlanes........or is it?

I may be a double member. I have two running. One in my Ranchero and one in my '48 panel delivery. Also a 260 waiting on a ch***is.

  25. I got a 289(Ford) block and some 351 windsor heads. Is that close enough.:D

    So . . no 260 or 302?

    I'd love a sweet running 221 . . . .

    Need a T-5, too.
