I've got a nice set of old coil overs that I bought used from a fellow HAMBER. I've got them apart right now to detail them. I'd like to put new shocks in when I re-***emble them. The shocks have a Monroe part#5007. A good local parts place tells me that's a discontinued number. I tried looking on the Monroe website and didn't see it there either. Do any of you know of a good source for something like this, maybe someplace I could match up the measurements? Anybody here work for Monroe?

If I remember I will see if I can get you a new part number, You can call Monroe direct and give them that part number and they can give you a cross for it, or ask for an application it went to, I had to do that for a set of shocks.

  8. monroe 5007 crosses to a monroe matic-plus 31094. may try that. I've got some at my store if you need them. But, you should be able to find them locally I'm in Henderson KY. Across the river from Evansville IN.

really? Could you look at one and tell me what type of mount it has at the top? Mine has a threaded end to accept a heim joint. I tried KOI here in Lexington, the guy tried pretty hard and couldn't come up with anything.

Looking at #31094 in the Monroe catalog, it doesn't look the same. Shows loops at both ends and a dust shield. I need a special threaded stud at the top or a hiem joint. I think I'm going to have trouble finding this.
