38-39 Ford truck grill on a model A pics

i have one in the part stash for future use,, its weird at first i hated them then i saw one on a eastcoast style coupe and now cant wait to use it

 

I am not a fan of them on model A's, they don't have the right proportions to match up to the cowl..... They are to round and look like an after thought......

 

Ford always had the best styling so it was strange that they came out with the ugly 38/9 truck grilles.
Even worse is the front sheetmetal on 46/7 trucks.
I am 59 years old and have recognized ugly since I was a kid.
