Ford Ignition Switch and Keys

    Does anyone know where I can get a new Ignition Switch and set of Ford script keys for a '40 ford? plain keys ****. Thanks!

    If the switch is dash mounted try www.americanautowire.com they may even offer a column switch? The dash switch comes with keys that say FORD on them.

    Thanks- I'll check out the American Auto Wire - I'll be mounting it in my dash.

    They had chevy stuff but no early ford keys or switches. can you cut ford key blanks to a regular joe ignition switch from your local hardware store??? Thanks!

    If for original column lock, available repros are poor quality...
    pull original, wash it out with lots of solvent, get key duplicated from number on side. I can get name of an early lock $pe******t if all your local smiths are too young.

    I know Early Ford in Ballston Spa, NY has had them before...
