Depending on what you want to do, or just looking for parts, a good place to start is www.oldihc.org
Those guys all have Internationals. I myself am working on a 1955 R-112. Good luck.

Back in the day (70ish) I had an interesting IHC 1/2 ton. A truck "travalette". A 1955 four door cab with a short bed.

One of a fleet built for the US Air Force. It was never ***led. I got it from a local yard that had won a fleet bid of gov. surplus.

Body was perfect except someone had stuffed the left West Coast mirror into the door sheet metal.

I removed the straight six with Clark HD 4-spd and sold it to the local towing co. Then installed a Big block chevy with 400 turbo. I was in the upholstery business. So I did a custom interior with buckets/console front and re contoured stock rear seat.

Painted the popular Marina blue color. I used it for a tow truck for various trailers/drag cars. Rode like a tank!!!.

Every where I went, it was the only one around. But, I got tired of the old gal and sold it downstate. Miss the old thing..

She ain't much fer purdy, But she's hell for tough.

My dad bought our S-100 in 73 and I learned to drive in it a few years later, I'm trying to stay as traditional as possible but I'm sure there weren't many like it back then. Do a search on here there are getting to be quite a few on here. Good luck! pool.
