Started a new project today F1 P/U

  1. Had this dropped off today. Got the cab ready to pull, and the nose off. I'ts pretty straight, typical rust. Less than most. We'll see what it looks like AFTER blasting!
It's for a buddy. I wasn't going to do this again, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do:rolleyes:

It's going on an S10 frame. Basic build, going flat black, paint not primer.
Not too low, but maybe a mild chop. So I may have to talk him into a little lower than he thinks he wants;)

If I don't save the ch***is complete, or sell /swap it for something, what should I save? It's in good condition, and complete.

Yes this will set my 33 pick up back a bit, but it's no longer for sale:D

Looks like fun. At least you get to keep the '33 now.

  5. Put this together for it yesterday. I'm not stopping on it, just slowing down

Did you end up using that distributor I gave you for it?

  7. No I 1-800'ed a new one! Stayed with a Mallory dule point. So it'll be a traditional 1-800 rod! Yours is hangin on the wall. Let me know if you need it back.

Hello Tinbender, Chicken Man here with a question?
I have also started a F1 (1949) project and was looking for info on which yr and model S 10 to use. Any suggestions?
    Thanks
