I've probably inhaled too much bondo dust to remember introducing myself before. . . . I guess I'd get around to it sometime. I still prefer being out in the garage to tapping away on the computer box, but I imagine it will get easier with practice. 'am really worried that I'll spend too much time here and not working on cars or helping other people out. Self control is definately something I lack. Many people I know are using the H.A.M.B. and are enjoying the huge amount of information from a huge amount of members. Anyway. . . I'm flying out for sunny California on thursday to catch up with friends and meet new ones, go to the CHHR and see what goodies I can find. I consider myself very lucky to have met the amazing people that I know in the wide world of hot rodding, and will always do my best to p*** on the knowledge, skills and encouragement that they have shown me. . . . . now what do you use all these little coloured face picture things for?????
Michael, you are one cool kat I am very happy to have aboard! Although you've been on here longer than I have! heh. Welcome! HC.
Wow. thanks to you all for the greetings. I've just found the stuff I wrote back in 2005. I've finally got the internet at home now. That should help me keep in touch a little easier. Two trips to the Chopped Show in Newstead Victoria has really got me inspired to put a bit more effort into keeping contct with all the people I've met there. I'm off to see some pals in the U.S. tomorrow, go to the Hot Rod Reunion and find the occasional part to keep the projects progressing. Then it's time to get back into the garage and get busy. . .
Chester Meredeth, I know the name, can't place the face, or is that the other way round. Could you be resposible for stashing "Ignition Magazine" stickers all through my stuff. Keep away from the coloured faces, Ok. Mal
IGNITION mag #73 went in the mail on sat.14 nov09. Hmmm. . . those little coloured faces do sort of make sense now. Maybe its the heat effecting me. I'm welding in the garage and it's 44C / 110F !!! But watching a hot rod ch***is come together helps you get over little things like body meltdown.
