Every project is an opportunity to acquire more and better tools. Get a Drill Dr. bit sharpener. It'll pay for it's self in no time. Get the best tools you can afford for the job you have to do and trade up when you get the chance.

I'm with hotrod linkin. Stay away from cheap tools they will not last. Buy tools as you need them. You will never have enough tools. I don't.

I like the Wiss metal shears/snips, Also would recommend getting a good lightweight oxy-acytylene torch set. Try to own the bottles, as the monthly rent arrangement costs much more. If you do a search here some good brands will come up.

I like snap on for all the wrenches, sockets, etc, I have snap on snips that seem to work pretty good, and a snap on cordless drill that will break your arm if you let it. If you need grinders I recommend dewalt, rigid shop vacs are very tough, We have three and they take a beating. The best sawzall I had was a milwaukee. We have a delta belt sander and drill press and I'm not impressed. Like the other guys said, you get what you pay for, usually a cheap drill bit is blue and dull in a big hurry (mine are also snap on) Good luck, hope I helped.
