    from Frisco!

Hello from San Francisco! Have several old cars and have been collecting parts to build a couple of '50s style road race specials. Got a couple of '36 Ford frames (one complete with suspension, steering and juice brakes), a '55 Chrysler 331 Hemi and a '55 Dodge 271 Red Ram Hemi. Have not been able to make up my mind about what type of manual transmission to use in the build and so far nothing has dropped in my lap either so I'm kinda stalled on this point.

Recently acquired a bone stock '24 Model T Runabout which unfortunately just made me realize that I need another Model T 'cause I just gotta have a Speedster and my '24 is too good to modify. Trying to educate myself about Model T Speedsters via Google kept leading me to discussions here so reckoned I just better join up!

    Regards-HW

The '50's road race specials sound really interesting!
The cars from that era are my favorites. There wasn't as much media then and ingenuity was the word of the day.
Please share any build threads on your specials!

Welcome from AZ! I grew up a couple hours inland from you. I also would like to see your 50's projects, a favorite era for me.
