Floating fenders on a 31 Ford

    Anyone got any info on doing floating fenders on a Model A. Its a pickup, but its gonna be running a modified 4 banger. Wanted to change it up a bit so i want to do the floating fender look they use to do in the 60's. Any info would be great. Right now I am running the original mechanical brakes.

    there was a 1930 sedan 1960's-ish style show car called Rod-Riguez that has been running around for a few years now. it has full floating fenders but they weren't stock ones. i'll see if i can find a pic for you.

    Thanks for the link. I found some old pics in a couple of the old Spotlight books as well. Looks like simple brackets hooked into the backing plates.
