    Howdy All,

Been lurk'n for a while and thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself.
My name is Craig and I'm from Austin (Yup, another Texan). I've been a motorcycle guy for years but I'm itch'n to get a car project going. Don't have one yet but I'm close to buying my buddy's 58 Apache so hopefully soon...

Since I don't have have a car yet to post pictures of, thought I'd show you another of my recent projects ya'll might get a kick out of.

No way was I gonna let my little niece's first set of wheels be an import. No sir, only vintage American steel would do. Here's her 1947 steel craft wagon - restored and road ready and being in fireball metal flake and gold leaf, she's the coolest kid on the block hands down!

I'm sure I'll have some technical questions soon.

    Thanks,

    Craig

    What size is that flake??

  5. Welcome, this is the place for Hotrods and Customs. Your work on the buggy is killer. Stop by early and often.

It's House of Kolor F65 "mini-fireball". It's quite a bit small than your standard b***-boat flake. I have a dry application gun I use for the bigger stuff.

Excellent, if you treat that truck like you did that wagon it'll be killer. Bring it to the round-up so I can take a look.

  18. The gold looks like an "engine turned" effect. Am I seeing that right? Or is it just laid on? Very nice anyway you look at it.

    Hey Hell Fish,

I'm just a couple of blocks down from you on Tradesmen Drive. I got a day gig in Round Rock but I'll be back at my shop this afternoon. PM me with your contact info and I'll stop by and say hi.
