Does anyone know if replacement and gasketsare available for this light. Also a little history would be great. Were these OEM on anything or sold as an aftermarket part?

I couldn't find an exact measurement anywhere so I ordered up a replacement Model A taillight lens and gave it a try. It is close enough that I can make it work, but not an exact match. The hole spacing is slightly different but I'll get it to work better than the busted original lens..

Those gl*** lenses dont light up good at all. What I did.....I went to one of those places that sells trailers, and bought a replacement trailer light lens. Very cheep, then I traced the gl*** lens on it and cut it out with a coping saw for wood. Its made out of plastic so it took maybe five minutes to do. It lights up about ten times better, you wont believe the difference. Oh, I saw the same lens in auto zone.

  8. How about using High intensity bulbs ?
