What year range for Ford COE's - 1948 to ?

Might sound like a dumb question, but what year range are the basic body shells of Ford's COE's the same, starting with 1948? Do they go 1948-54 like Chev pickup cabs? I found a nice '54 COE cab and front sheetmetal that's missing the passenger door and a very nice '48 door is listed here in the classifieds - will this door fit the cab I'm looking at?

53-55 COE are the only years that will fit your 54.

You can cut down a 53 to 55 F-100 door to fit. Al is the same except the "notch"
