There are a couple of other threads about the ladies, their rides and their projects. You can check out my 33 Dodge project on my profile. I have a 36 Ford and a 53 CHevy. We have our own social group, Ladies of the Hamb.

I'd have to agree that Diana Branch is the Queen of contemporary female Hot Rodders! She helped build her own steel Deuce , attends every show, swapmeet, special event in the country. Drives to Southern California Dragstrips then races her car. And last but not least drives her Hot Rod to Bonneville every year and races a roadster out on the Lakes! She is the epitome of the phrase "You go girl" !

Although not a female Hot Rodder by no stretch of the imagination my awesome wife Celeste does stand side by side with me and our music / car show organizing , has been riding shotgun with me and my Hot Rods for the past 15 years and now she's got her very own custom that she plans to drive the wheels off of!

Well that sucks and certainly explains why you didn't have any of your event flyers at the Singlefinger Speed Shop area where alot of the HAMB folks were hanging out. Next year for sure.

  13. yeah I was pretty bummed, but next year for sure I plan to take the entire day off..way to much to see in only 2 hours to do it

pretty soon I'll start a thread up with all the info on the show

It's because they're the designated drivers and their old man is passed out in the passenger seat. :D Just kidding ladies, don't shank me. I'd like to see more pics of the girls and their cars, but that's just the stalker in me........

Well, does this qualify? This is my missis', taking her first spin around the block last weekend in her almost done coupe. I did the welding and fab work, but it's all been done per her design. She hand picked every piece on the car, and helped wherever possible in putting it together. She even stripped the body and repainted it, with a brush!

    Nice looking cars!

Female born into cars. Dad thought I was going to be a boy so he gave me the car in my avatar. I have a younger brother but as of right now, he don't care so much even though Dad gave him a 57 Chevy wagon. Poor Dad!

You will love it!!!..Had to narrow the trans axles 10" to get it under the car...then built tubular frame in back,so it could breath, because of the hieght of the motor we had to redo the back hood.."52" Desoto, then took the shift tunnel clear to the front.even used the hang down pedals..useing the original front suspention?...I'v had the car up over 100.. gets a little hairy after that, but there was still gas pedal left...would love to see the pics...but be forwarned..its not very HAMB friendly,I get grief about mine every so often....you might want to post it on the aircooled group that is on here.....But I usually dont care..I'l brag about her anyway..:)...have any ?,just pm me..I'l get your reg. email & send you picks....Do you still have any of the engine parts left?..I have alot of people that ask.well good luck...ask ? if you need to...Vic
