Hot Rods Im ready for it, what do y'all think of my truck?

You turned a piece of nothing into a truck that's real cool! That is amazing! Good on ya!

 

Thats our old wooden brake. Built in 1905, still has the tag on it. It still works fine, great for body work and light stuff, but doesnt cut it for most of the stuff we do in the shop.

 

Looks pretty cool! I'd drive it!!!

 

Just messing around, trying to figure out how to post a pic and not just thumbnails.

 

I went a little different route with my 42...

 

It still looked "right" in the teeny picks HB.

Heres a quick update on the truck. Its successfully made it through the summer with no major problems. Took honors at a few shows, Including the Syracuse Nats. The pig screams down the road, hates milled pavement though. Has a little shimmy at around 85mph, but that goes away with a little more throttle. 10mpg but whos counting?

Time to sell it and start another one.

 

454 hell yes! Nice truck running big cubes. I love the sound.

 

Another update. This truck sold and went to the Cunningham Tennesee area.

Looks good. Good to see Flat Black really is dying.

Nice truck - I especially like it blue! Very nice little build, and dirt-cheap for you to do, it sounds like.

Next on the list is my '53 Desoto. Its going to be a "family friendly" cruiser. I sold the truck because i couldnt take my son along..
