I hate to quote an email 'cause then we all have to look at the pix again--but DAMN! This is a great Ranchero. Can I ask--what are those wheels and caps, and what size? Very nice job.
Mine if pics work . lol tossed the Y block and going FE multi carb, just got my cross ram in today = ))
Here's mine. These are old pics. I ashamed to say it doesn't look this good right now. I inherited it from my Dad. He's gone now. Was his daily driver. First pic is from Sears Point near Sonoma CA. The second is from Speedworld, here in Phoenix. The third pic it was still fairly new, Dynasty Green, four speed, four barrel, equa-lok w/3.25's. The last pic is late 60's, early 70's. The paint color, '69 Ford Gulfstream Aqua, became known as "The Color". Was repainted after an accident. "The Color" is from his best bud's '69 Torino GT. Tried to emulate the C-stripe on the Falcon body. All the Delux trim was removed at this time. Anyways... I'm in the process of bringin' her back. I'm aimin' for the look of the last pic. Thanks!!! Have A Great Day!!! See Ya' Later!!
Thank you the tires are P185/70r14 with 14x6 chrome smoothies (standard) with spinner caps made by lugnut king here's another with my supremes on it, they rub in the inner wheel well cause Supremes have a plate attached to the inside and pushes them out too far, so unless i juice it i cant run them...
Very cool. Love the black CA plates. Love the whole thing. I can just see a built FE under the hood. Or a 312 Thunderbird with two fours.
hard to believe this little thing NEEDS a truetrak diff. 260/4speed (four-barrel) and happy to putt around town in fourth gear (its the only thing I have close to stock and forgot how nice a regular car drives hahahaha) Love seeing all these, thanks everyone!
Has anyone seen this one before? A friend has it stored in his barn. It has a sculptured vinyl top and old ISCA and NSRA decals on the windshield. Head and tailights are tunneled deep and roll pans front and rear. Just curious, looks like an old show car from the past. this is the dash
I saw this two weeks ago...buried to the axles in mud...old lady wants to get rid of em. The first 1 is a 4 speed car...second is a V-8 car, automatic
The new guy again, I uploaded some recent pictures of the 1960 Ranchero and the Corvette. Got them all washed up and the storms started hitting the west coast pretty bad. Waiting til the good weather comes back.
Saw this 59 at Irwindale in CA about five years ago. Looks a lot like Tuck's huh. Some nice Rancheros in this thread..
