On second look, that front frame stub looks a tad bit narrow, that could be one squirrely ride at speed...
I thought he said front was suppose to be as wide as stock, but I dont know for sure?? 283, 5spd, 10bolt he paid $75 for the front wheels.....
The axle looks as wide as stock, I'm talking about the framerails and leaf spring mounts, those look much narrower than stock...it might handle just fine, it's just narrower than I would have made it...car looks solid though, any idea what color he's painting it? Is he gonna make some fenderwell headers for it?...
I see what your talking about. as much as I hate to say it I think he wants it flat black.... fenderwell headers are next on the list...
That ****er will be a handful-just the way I like em! I also vote fenderwell headers-chromed! How's compe***ion orange paint, chrome all the inside garnishes, chrome roll bar, black diamond tufted interior dash mount tach....... Then drive that bad*** to work!!!
Front Rails on those Chevy's are narrow anyway & if you knock out the rivits & drop the stock suspension there is no need for a Frame Stub. I would think it needs WAYYY more rear Tire ! Very Cool Project !
