Frankly, I hate he idea of a subframed car... It just kind of defeats the purpose of driving an old car.

I drove a '50 throughout college... with a stock, but lowered suspension. It drove GREAT!

Not to sound like a jerk but are they real 428 "cobra jet" heads or just stock 428 heads. If there not cobra jet heads there just as good as stock 390 heads the valve size never changed through any of the years or sizes of FE's.

Here is the stock parts # for the 352,390,410,428 - C8AZ-6049-M and or C8AZ-6049-A
(Exhaust valve is 1.57) (Intake valve is 2.04)

Here is the parts # for 428, "Cobra Jet" heads - C8OZ-6049-K
(Exhaust valve is 1.65) (Intake valve is 2.09)

To be honest never to the time to look at the #s on the heads just say the rebuild bill listing off everything and the price was i get her home i,ll take a closer look but iam 75% sure they are cobra jets only because i have bought many cars before from this guy and he is a speed man and when he tells you what it is he isn,t ********ting but hey say there not cobra heads i dont care iam not a big block ford fan anyway and the chop alone is worth what i paid i build cars for a living and in my view this car to get to this point would be at least 10 grand

I know where one of these are for $700 bucks. No ***le and really rusted. Has decent chrome grill and a few windows are in good shape. Could save the fenders. I didnt pop the hood because i lost interest soon as she said no ***le. Its in Monticello, FL.

no. I left my cell phone in the truck when i went to look at it. The rockers where gone as was the rear section under the trunk lid and rear quarters. There was an engine in it still. Its been sitting there for awhile now.

Hey Rick , what are you going to do about the chopped rear window? You could always cut that one out and lay down a stock frame so you could use the stock gl***. You have enough rear windows to do it.

No i liked the idea of the shorter rear window .Everybody lays the gl*** down and i always like to be different and have people wondering so iam going to keep the shorter window it just looks way to cool .AS for getting a rear window no problem got a friend in the gl*** shop were all they do is curved gl*** he just needs template and a old piece to see the curve and away we go .Its strange cause when you first see this car you don,t really notice the rear window is shorter and when you do notice it you would not think its 4 in. but it is . By the way cool car:)

You're en***led to your opinion, but I think it's Bull Spit. I put 100K on one of those ****py front ends in the 60's & 18K on my curerent 49 with a warmed up flatty & a t-5.

The first one drove great & so does this one.
