Hi from Winnipeg

Hi Folks, I'm a greenhorn from Winnipeg, Canada. Just moved here and found this website as well. Lots of talent/experience on this board and some outstanding cars.
Right now I'm looking for a garage/workspace, when that happens I'm interested in building a g***er style 50's pontiac.

 

Welcome, just got here myself, soooo much to see in here, info garlore. Did i see your car at fabulous 50's show in the fall?

 

Hi Tedley, Sorry, it would'nt have been me. I'm still looking for a place to start building a car. so it'll be a few years till I'm bringing anything to the carshow.
There's a guy in Portage la prarie with a pontiac and a dodge for sale that I've got my eye on though, once I find a workshop someplace I'd like to buy the pontiac, that's the plan anyhow.

 

Welcome...Although I've been on this site for a while, I too am new to the Winnipeg area. I live in Kleefeld, about 30 minutes south of the city. I have a 52 Pontiac myself. There is a dude on Kijiji that is selling a 52 Pontiac g***er right now...Most of the hard work is done...I think he wants $4000 for it, but I'm sure he would take less since he's had it for a while...
