i found an oil filter in my grand fathers stuff,and looking for rebuild kits it is round like a new style filter but is aluminum there are a lot of fins around the filter , it has a bolt on the engine side that holds a screen ,spring and filter. all it says on it is san deigo california any hlep would be great
It is a Stilko byp*** filter. Uses toilet paper as the media. They work fine. Don't lets get into the byp*** vs full-flow argument now. Here's one on my '50 Plymouth:
