Well after a year of searching I found my new ride! It is a 1941 Ford Tudor Sedan that I got one hell of a deal on. It came with a 351W and a C4. The original motor was converted into a planter for roses. But I guess I work with the 351 until I find a flathead. The body is super straight with almost no rust on the body. The only rust is in the floorpans and lower door jam sill. I have always tinkered around with the 60's and 70's muscle cars so this will be my first Old School hot rod project. First on the ajenda will be to find someone in the Houston area to chop the top 4" and replace the floor pans. So if you know anyone that is reasonable and does good work let me know. I would post pictures on the thread but I am not sure how. They are in my album though. So let the hunt begin for those glorious hard to find parts!!! Brad
Does anyone know if there is a motor mount kit out there that will allow me to drop the 351 into the factory motor mount locaton? Can you post some pictures up of your set up so I can get a rough idea how to get started. Thanks.
Welcome... Let me know if you need any help with suspension and may be able to turn you on to some help for the chop too. Matt.
Thanks for the offer Matt! Once I get into it I will give you a shout so we can figure out the best way to get it lowered and chopped. I believe I met you at the Hot Rod Hoedown earlier this year and we talked about a couple of the cars you had at the show. Brad
