Hi everybody i'm Gunter and i live in Belgium,i'm 34 years old and my intrests are hot rods, customs, pinstriping, rockabilly and everything from the fifties.
So that was a little from myself.
So the car i got is a peugeot 201 coupe build in 1930 in France.
The plans are flathead, quarter elliptical in the front,9" in the rear,channel,z-notch and a lot of other stuff as we go along the way.
First pics are how i bought it,last pic was a couple of weeks ago,now she's totally undressed.
Let me know what ya think.

  7. How does this Peugeot compare in size to say a Model A Ford ? Pretty much same size or say 4/5ths much like the English fords were in the 30s ?

The frame looks like it could handle anything you put in it. I like it.

yeah the frame is really strong its factory boxed so that saves a bit of work, and the material is thicker than an a-frame

I have a V8 60 that would be perfect for that.

  22. I like it even if it has red wheels. How rare is that car?

It looks good, but it all depends on the size of it. European cars are often a little too small when you see them in real life.

  26. Thats awesome how much would one cost?

There was a Peugeot 201 PU at the French Nats this year, quite small cars, if anyone in Euroland has a copy of the uk mag Custom Car it's on Page 16.

I'll see if i have any pics to post.

Nice score Gunter, I like it .

To be honest ive never seen a Pug of that vintage but ive seen a few citroen of the 30s and to my surprise they are huge! Meaning as big as US fords.
They wold make for terrific hot rods if they werent so damn expensive!
The few you find are sold by the pound due to the collector and restorers market
    in which they strive.
I wouldnt mind one to be honest, after all we are in europe and if we can find something
we like here why the hell not!!!!!
    Keep us posted please!
