Will a 318-340-360 mechanical advance distributor fit a low deck Desoto? I need to know what will interchange as far as drop-in. Shaft length and shoulder size considerations? I have not measured anything, but most Mopar distributors look similar. Steven.

I "think" a LA distributor is 1/4 inch too short for a low deck

But is that 1/4" easily made up for with the HH adapter kit? I've read all through the hemi index and never saw a definitive answer. Thanks for all info as I sure don't want to buy a $150 dual point if it won't work. Steven.
