What year motors are these and are they worth rebuilding?


block numbers A985360 and A1872712

 

Model A's worth rebuilding ??? Guess that depends on if you need one.

A985360 is February 1929 , A1872712 is June 1929

value depends on a lot of things...

 

where did you find the block id info. is there a website somewhere? How can i find out if the motor came with the truck from the factory?

the number was ***igned to the engine , when it was installed in the ch***is that number was hand stamped on the top of the frame rail , driver's side , right behind the first body mounting hole. so..........check your frame number

 

is there any benefit to the 1929 flathead 4? over other years?
