My DeSoto was vandalized over the weekend

Had my DeSoto at my job over the weekend working on it. I'm a golf course equipment mechanic so I was going to use my lift to make my life easier. Let the car sit in our lot and kids broke out all the windows Saturday afternoon. Bashed out all the lights too. What a sick feeling seeing it for the first time. We got them filmed on the security camera doing the dirty deed! Hopefully the cops can round them up and have some justice served.

What a bunch of ***HOLES! Cops probably won't do **** about it, even WITH the camera evidence! That's jacked up.

That's horrible! I hope they catch the little peckers. The judge should sentence them to pay for new gl*** AND install it! That would be punishment!

That's ****ed up! I'd be looking for some BLOOD!!!! slddnmatt just picked up a Desoto. Not sure what the year is,but the gl*** might be the same. Send him a PM and ask...

 

Oh man, I'm sick for you. Let me know if you have trouble finding replacement gl***, there are several parts cars in my area.

I can't believe someone would actually do that. I would beat their ***es senseless.

FYI - the cops don't give a ****. Nobody was injured, it's just an old car. They won't / don't follow up on acts of vandalism unless you're "somebody" in your town.

Coming from a guy that has a 1 year car with 1 year gl***... finding gl*** ****S. I would rather someone dent the **** outta my car than smash the gl***...

Hope you get some sort of justice on this...

if they play golf there chances are they will be back, then you run them over with the driving range ball rounder upper thingie!!!

Call your local news stations, have your bosses send copies of the security video to them and run it on the news...and badger the hell out of the cops, call them every day, and if you keep getting the runaround from them, then start going higher up the food chain until someone starts getting calls from their bosses...good luck man...

Dang man, that ****s! Sorry to hear about that. I know how you feel, a few years back some punk a@@ kids keyed my 57 ford fairlane with 6month old paint job & slashed all 4 whitewall tires. I hope the cops find the a@@ holes who messed up your car.

I hope you get justice.. I would certainly call the news station in.. promise the reporter a round of golf or something.. ask them to interview the detective in charge of the case..

 

I'm sick for ya, man! I'd have trouble restraining myself if I ever got a hold of any peckerheads that ever did that to one of my cars. I'd likely be the one ending up on the news and in front of a judge, and they'd probably award my car to the *****s that busted the windows.

 

allways offer to help the Police do their job if they haven't done it by the end of the week, it usually speeds the local Police up

HAMBer Cliffy had a complete set of Solex gl*** out of a '55 DeSoto Fireflite 4 door sedan, you might PM him to see if he still has it.

Big city guys would probably have to write this off since the cops wouldn't do ****, but in my little podunk town, we've got a lot of cops and they have nothing to do, so they'd be pleased as punch to go track down some kids and make them pay. Hope the same is true of your town.

 

When you catch them, bring them over and we will strap them down on my Bridgeport and cut them real slow. JC

 

I have a 56 Desoto 4dr HT that has most of the gl***.

you can have it if it will fit.

All I ask is you pay shipping. Not sure about shipping a windshield, but can do the side gl***.

I'd want to throttle the little *******s..WTF is wrong with them?

Just think, they are going to breed one day. Making exponentially ****ed up kids.

I'd like to feel secure in the feeling that even if the kids are never caught that one day they will pour money sweat and tears into something that someone will come along and totally **** it up. Then they will know the pain they caused to the guy that owned that black car.
