just picked up this baby, desert truck, solid no rust through everything there xcept the tailgate did not take motor or trans 6cyl 4 speed ...now i need a merc tailgate...........................
thanks,, it just got a camero clip. gonna use parts layin around the yard (clean up) a rear end out of a 72 or so buick and a v6/200r out of a blazer.......going to leave it with the patina it worked so hard to get......should be real good on gas......my friend clipped it for 500 bucks plus parts ...thats what he does anyone need one done pm me he is in littlerock ca...

yep victorville the guy was so cool i told him i wanted it just from the pic and could i give him a deposit?..he said no its yours ill hold it but i want you to see it first i told him i would come to see it with a trailer the next day...................
Don't let that 3/4 ton/1 ton rear axle housing go...the two halves bolt up to the early Halibrand champ-style quick change center sections...keep the axle shafts too. Great score

There's some great deals out on craigslist. You just have to be persistent and check everyday. There's a new version of craigslist helper that will search within however miles radius that you want, and it won't list cities that have no return results. update...................2.8 v6, 200r trans, 72 la saber rear end, 74 camero clip 500 dollar tailgate.....came with the rest of a truck...... drove 120 frwy miles virgin run ,,,no problems...........woo hoo
