    Original 35 spindles, marked 48-?
    36 spindles, marked 68-?
    37-41 Spindles, marked 78-?

    Ok so those are 32 spindles. I have the later round spindles.

    You have the Popular Flat Backing plates ... They are the ones to have !!

    I just think you have '42-'48 Lincoln Drums which are not Compatable.

    Way to much over thinking here, Check a '40 Ford Drum.... If it fits Correctly, You have the wrong Lincoln drum.

    Easy as that, To much Super Hero Car Guy ******** here.

    Lincoln Brakes are not That hard, & Wilson Welding Brakes are an UGLY Cop Out for those who dont want to leave the Key Board.
